Meet Mr. Lundberg

My name is Mike Lundberg. I grew up in White Bear Lake, MN. I received my teaching degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and received my Masters Degree from Bethel University. I live in Birchwood Village MN. I have an amazing wife named Britta. We have a wild toddler named Henry. We also have a pretty awesome dog named Stella (see pictures below).

My two favorite things to do in my free time are play golf and curling (the goofy sport on ice). I also enjoy spending my summers and weekends camping, fishing, or doing just about anything that gets me out in nature. In 2014 I took a 6,000 mile road trip in which I camped in 9 different national parks. We are fortunate to live in one amazing country.
I was the science specialist at Island Lake for 5 years, then two years as a 5th grade homeroom teacher. I really enjoyed working and teaching at Island Lake, but I love being at Highview. I am looking forward to another great year.
Please never hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, exciting news, etc... I know that the quality of home/school communication is one of the most important factors of student success. The quality education of our children is the result of a healthy partnership between families, schools, and the community that supports them.
